Where is the Palm Suites located?
We are conveniently located just over the Atlantic Beach bridge! Follow Highway 58 into Atlantic Beach – Once you have crossed the bridge, you will turn right at the first stop light onto Fort Macon Road. Palm Suites will be approximately 1 mile on your right!

Is the Palm Suites a hotel?
Essentially, yes. However, we offer more accommodating rooms than your standard hotel. All rooms have kitchenettes with a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and your basic dinnerware (cups, plates, utensils).

Is there a minimum age requirement to rent a room?
Yes, you must be 21 to rent a room at the Palm Suites. Photo ID and a valid credit card in your name are also required.

Sounds great! Do I have a choice of bed size?
Yes! But it does depend on what room type you choose. Take a look at our website at ( ) for a full description and pictures of each room type.

I have to work while I’m at the beach … Do you have internet service?
Of course! We have FREE WiFi available throughout the hotel!

What about my dog? I can’t leave Fido at home …
Aww! As much as we love dogs, the Palm Suites has a NO PET policy. But there are local kennels and veterinary clinics that will board your dog while you are here!

Do you have a pool?
We have an outdoor pool on the soundfront of the hotel. It is very convenient to the dock and the boat slips, and features umbrella tables and lounge chairs!

What other amenities do you have on-site?
Along with FREE WiFi throughout the hotel, there is also a coin-operated washer and dryer, private boat ramp, sound front dock and gazebo with grills, and private boat slips for rent.

How do I reserve a boat slip?
When you call to make your reservation, mention that you want to reserve a boat slip during your stay. They are available on a nightly or weekly basis and are first come, first serve. All of our hotel guests have access to the private boat ramp at no additional charge.

What about roll a ways and cribs – do you have any of those available?
We do not have Roll-a-ways on-site. Make sure you choose a room with ample an sleeping arrangement as not to over occupy the room. We do have a few loaner cribs on-site, but if we cannot supply you with one, we can reserve one for you when making a reservation my phone. You can also reserve a highchair, pack-n-play, jogging (single or double) strollers and/or baby gate. Items rented will be delivered to the hotel on day of arrival. Be sure to reserve early, they go quickly during peak season (Memorial Day-Labor Day).

Can I book just a Friday night?
We do have minimum stay requirements – 2 night minimum on weekends (Friday or Saturday nights) from Memorial Day to Labor Day and a 3 night minimum stay over all major holidays. Mid-week and off-season allow single night bookings!

You can make a reservation on-line, or you can call us at 252-247-6400!

What do I pay when I book? What happens if I cancel my reservation?
Due to high demand, we do require the first nights rent to be paid as your non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. If you should find that you have to cancel, please let us know. If you are canceling more than 48 hours from your check-in time, you will be charged the first nights rent but will not be charged for any additional reserved nights. If you are canceling less than 48 hours from your check-in time or you do not show up for your reservation, your payment is completely non-refundable.

How do I check in?
That’s the most exciting part, right?? Just stop by the hotel after 4pm and we will get you checked in! We know you’re happy to arrive, but please don’t park in the lot or use the beach access or pool before you’ve checked in.

What if I need something after “normal business hours”? Does the hotel close?
Not during our peak season months (Memorial Day-Labor Day). Our lobby has personnel on staff 24 hours a day – so just call the front desk, or stop in the lobby. For your convenience.

So I’ve heard about hurricanes on the coast. What happens if a hurricane comes?
Well, town officials will keep an eye on the circumstances. If they decide to issue a MANDATORY evacuation, (you MUST leave) you will receive a full refund for the days remaining in your stay. If they issue a VOLUNTARY evacuation, and you decide to leave, you can have a credit for a future stay for the remaining days in your stay, but you must use the credit within the next 90 days.

How do I check out?
If you absolutely have to leave this island paradise, just drop by our lobby by 11:00am and turn in your KEY CARD and PARKING PASSES (if you received them at arrival). If you decide that you want to stay later, or wish to extend your stay just ask our front desk attendant. They will be happy to help you!
